For some, summer includes extravagant vacations to fascinating destinations. If you are not part of that lavish life and you want to help out your community, check out these volunteer events.

 

Safety Town

August 2nd:  Need 8-10 volunteers to help set up from 3:00pm-5:00pm (World of Wonder Gym)

August 5th-8th: Need 9-12 volunteers to work the event. You will be given a small group of kids to be in charge of (with another adult), and just keep them focused and on task.

Session One: 8:30-12:15

Session Two: 12:30-4:15

 

Fenton Freedom Festival

Grand Marshal Reception, July 2nd (6:00pm-10:00pm): Need 6-8 volunteers in business attire at the Fenton Community Center. You will be serving dinner to the Fenton Lions Club and help host the event.

Parade Barricade Set-Up, July 4th (6:00am): Need 4-6 volunteers to help barricade the streets for the parade that goes through downtown Fenton. You will start in front of The Laundry and continue throughout the city.

Parade Barricade Breakdown, July 4th (After Parade): Need 4-6 Volunteers to meet on the corners of Ellen Street and Leroy Street. You will help take down the barricade for the parade route.
