Youtube has been around since February 14, 2005. 14 years of music, gaming, and education videos and more. Through those years there have been a share of different popular youtubers, but in 2019, these were the top five.

          T-Series – 104 million subscribers

T-Series is a music record label and film company in India. It was founded by Gulshan Kumar in 1983. Their channel consists of music and singing videos. It is primarily known for Bollywood music soundtracks and Indi-pop music. T-Series has been led by Bhushan Kumar and his younger brother Krishan Kumar.

          PewDiePie – 102 million subscribers

PewDiePie, also known as Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is a swedish Youtuber. He is widely known for his comedic videos mostly about him playing video games, and funny shows. His channel was the most-subscribed channel on YouTube for more than five years. 

        Cocomelon – 69.8 million subscribers 

Cocomelon is a Youtube page full of kid friendly videos, and nursery rhymes. This channel specializes in 3D animation videos of both traditional nursery rhymes and their own original children’s songs. As of October 2019, they are the most-viewed YouTube channel in the United States, the most-subscribed children’s channel in the world, and the third most-subscribed channel in the world behind T-Series and PewDiePie.    

      5 minute crafts – 63.2 million subscribers

5 minute crafts was created by the Soul Publishing. It is a whole site showing you different DIY’s (do it yourself), items that can save you money, or crafts to be creative and fun to make using items you already have in your home. The company employs 550 people who work on various Youtube channels, Facebook pages, and Instagram pages. 

          Dude Perfect – 48.1 million subscribers

Dude Perfect is an American sports entertainment group from Frisco, Texas. They frequently upload insane videos of them doing trick shots, and how the group is like a family. The group consists of twins Cory and Coby Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, Cody Jones, and Tyler Toney. They all met at college, while they were roommates. 

     T-Series, PewDiePie, Cocomelon, and Dude Perfect are the top five Youtubers of 2019. Their content brings joy to many fans that are interested in their music, video games, children’s music, DIY’s, and trick shots. The top Youtuber with over 104 million subscribers shows you itself how popular Youtube is, and how much content people actually watch.
